Asbury Missions

A Growing Church With a Big Heart......
As always, we continue to strive to walk in the light of the Lord.
What a glory He sheds on our way as we reach out.....
One loving act after another.....
"We are not one committee.....we are the whole church."

As people of Asbury, we continue our walk to be a source of God's light in our community and in the world by supporting the following outreach projects:
If you have a special project that touches your heart and you would like Missions to get involved please contact one of our committee members by calling the church office at 856-829-3801.

     Habitat for Humanity
A home in Palmyra was recently built through Habitat for Humanity.  Asbury played a part in the building of this very special home.

     Easter Baskets
Each Easter, Missions makes and gives away over 300 Easter baskets filled with our delicious eggs, both peanut butter and coconut.  Additionally, there are always other items including a note from Asbury.  These baskets are given out to friends and neighbors as a gesture of love.  This is but one of our outreach programs.
Vacation Bible School is a special project of our Missions program.  Our VBS program is probably the largest one in our area with around 150 youngster between the ages of 4 years and up attending.  Our large staff are all volunteers and give of their time willingly.  We are both fortunate and proud of all of our volunteers for their time!
     Operation Christmas Child
Each year, just before Christmas, our church fills shoeboxes.  Each shoebox is filled with all sorts of toys and toiletries, school supplies, etc  that are then transported from Asbury to a central location where they are taken to Samaritan's Purse in North Carolina.  There they eventually link up with thousands of other shoeboxes from all over the country.  The shoeboxes are sent all over the world to needy children.
